The Rolling Sky app is a fun, fast-paced and exhilarating game that tests your speed and reflexes, by beating obstacles and challenges with an endless rolling ball that can move either left, right or up. This game will test your limits and bring the adrenaline rush right on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Google Android device.

I’d describe the graphics as exhilarating and colorful, with a mixture of 2D and lightly textured 3D paths. The movement is fast, and there are multiple scenes which definitely add to the richness of the graphics. The game looks great especially in tablet mode or on a wide-screen. There are also great sound effects and upbeat tracks which you can time the rhythm of your movement too. The score of the graphics is 8.5/10.

What Is It about?

If you have something to say about this app and make own review – write me.

Rolling Sky takes the player on a fast-paced journey of overcoming traps and obstacles which include hammers, platforms, and gaps. The objective is to reach the end of the maze without hitting any obstacles while guiding the ball. Successfully avoiding every obstacle on one platform unlocks a new, even more, challenging level. If you hit an obstacle, you lose and have to replay the level again.

You can play as different characters in the game, with different kinds of powers associated with each. These include the regular ball, basketball, Magic Pupil, Trickball, Voyager, SnowBall, Supersonic and the Scarab Sign among others. The latest version has an updated scene for the ‘eye of Horus’ which takes the player through ancient Egypt.

The controls on the iOS and Android app are as simple as tapping on the screen and swiping in the desired direction. My experience with this game was better on a wide-screen device, as I was using a Samsung tablet. The controls are seamless, without any on-screen clutter, and they are convenient because they don’t take up any precious screen space.

The app requires Android 4.0 or higher although the actual compatibility will vary with the specific Android mobile device. The iOS version runs on iOS 6.0 or later.

You can get both Android and iOS versions off the app free of charge, but there are in-app purchases ranging from $0.99 to $12.99. These include 500 Balls ($0.99), 10 Keys ($2.99) and 99 Shields ($12.99). These allow you to tackle obstacles head-on and not lose lives. The score is 9/10.

To Replay or Not to Replay

For me, the game has a high replay value especially because of rich scenes such as the Forest, Snowfield, and Inferno among others and the excitement of moving up the different levels. The availability of various power-ups as the game gets progressively harder also make it appealing to replay the game. However, you’ll need to pay to enjoy the best powerups so you might be averse to playing again if you aren’t willing to spend any money. The score is 8.5/10.

Is It Good?

Get the Rolling Sky Google Play app for Android or the App Store version for iOS and enjoy this scintillating game that is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat. This is an app for all Android devices and iOS gadgets, with minimal size requirements so everyone will enjoy this. This will be quite the test on your reflexes so prepare yourself. The scenes are fantastic, and this is definitely a leading runner game in my book. I highly recommend it.
