The graphics for all the games comprise a combination of creative 2D and 3D animations. The graphics are meant to also appeal to your kids’ real world senses, so they incorporate many aspects of reality. The UI for all the games is beautifully designed, with lots of elegance and of digital innovation. Graphics of the app deserves on the mark 10/10.
What Is It about?
You can engage your kids with different games on McPlay. Toy scan allows kids to scan their Happy Meal toy for new and exciting ways of playing with Peter Rabbit whenever they visit the Happy Meal. With Be an Inventor, your kids are encouraged to test their problem-solving abilities by fixing together different parts and checking the results. Be an Artist helps your kids test their creativity through interactive coloring and bringing their favorite characters to life via various drawing and painting tools. In Be an Entertainer, your kids will explore their creative spirits by matching musical bands to compose new songs and sounds, and learn new rhythms and how to dance to the beat. Moreover, they learn the art of performance, thrusting themselves into the spotlight either solo or in teams. Finally, in Be a Hero, the whole family is encouraged to play together, completing mini-challenges and moving and directing the gameplay.
The controls for both the Android app and the iOS one vary depending on the game, although they involve a series of swiping, tapping and moving your device for motion. They are quite intuitive and convenient, especially for phones with large screens.
Both the Google Android and iOS app for McPlay are free, and there are no in-app purchases for any of the games. With a simple scan, you can get the latest version and updates to your favorite characters for free. This point’s score is 9/10.
To Replay or Not To Replay
For me, I’d enjoy replaying the game because I actually get to learn something new from each game. With lots of variety and different types of games, I never got bored. The game fuses real-life action with kids’ play, making it more enjoyable. You’ll get hints and directions which makes the process exciting. You can also complete challenges, and I like the fact that they let you control the processes therein. The score of replay value is 9/10.
Is It Good?
If you’ve been looking for something to keep your family busy and maybe spark your kids’ creativity, McPlay is the best app for you. The Google Play app for McPlay is free, and so is the App Store version, thus no extra costs. You’ll get regular updates to all your favorite characters, so this will never be a dull game. I like the fact that the game merges real-world objects with digital innovation which is an excellent way for kids to learn.
Big companies have various apps of their own, but McDonald’s is a leader when it comes to kids’ innovation.
